Let's talk about money. 🙂

Definitely, one of the most repeated points of discussion inside Headway community is, “How should I price my services?”

Many years ago when I started one of my first businesses, I organized students of Moscow University to sell books on a streets near subway stations. So every morning few dozen of my “eager” employees with few mobile tables and bunch of books set their selling points all around Moscow city center. And you know what was the first surprise for me to realize? The main turnover and profit was made through few quite expensive, well printed books which I thought will be a rear sell. Later the same story repeated when I had a home accessories business. We’d really struggle for months to sell our cheap stock, but the picture changed dramatically when I switched to high quality items.

I can hear you asking: “Are you saying the more expensive our service are, the easier it is for us to find and sign clients?”

No!!  Not at all!!!! 🙂

But in detecting that pattern, I became a lot more confident in THOSE businesses to select promising inventory and set realistic prices for the array of products I then offered by customers.

Coaching pricing is not all that different.  Information, and more importantly, confidence in that information, helps set good prices.

Thank you so much for listening. Have a wonderful week and we’ll see you next Tuesday, with another Headway Q&A.

Warm regards,
