Hello!  The topic we're taking  on today is one that I KNOW is a big challenge for all of us: focus. Between our jobs…. things that need to get done around the house… taking care of our health… and everything that life demands…. it’s easy to experience moments when we feel really drained.

But what about your dream to have a coaching practice of your own? How can you regain focus and stick with it when it starts to feel like a far off dream?

A good ten years ago, I thought it would be a good idea to make a mind map of everything I do in life, all the learning I am active in, everything I want to do and everything I want to learn.

This is how that map looked like:

(Scroll below or click HERE for the video)

Alex-goalsWhen I looked at it after it was done my first thought was, “Mama Mia! I definitely need few more lives!!!!”

If I tried to do daily even half is on that mind map, I will be hamster in a wheel. Running from one activity to the other and still feeling, “There are so many things I have left to do!!!”

In Buddhism and in many other religions it is well known fact: our mind is greedy. It never stops wanting and desiring. The very next second we’ve reached one of our goals, our imaginations and ambitions have already positioned a few more on the horizon.

This is why “peace of mind” was, is and always will be the central topic of spiritual growth. It is also why, without a different strategy, we will be prone to feelings of overwhelm, frustration and paralysis of action.

So… how can we focus our minds and our energies to experience excitement, satisfaction and progress?

I’ve got one question you need to ask yourself to get back on track…. Not a five step process… Not a new practice to learn…. Just one easy question.

Click the video below to find this one easy question you have to ask yourself whenever you’re feeling overwhelmed, one key question that will get your energy back on track in no time at all…..

Thank you so much for listening. Have a wonderful week and we’ll see you next week, with another Headway Q&A.

Warm regards,

Alex, Headway Coaching Group
